New Orleans 2010 – Part 4

January 20th, 2010 | Activities, Culture, Escapes, Food

On our last morning, we decided to head to the place with the frozen fountain from the first night which offered a solid cajun brunch buffet! We were pretty wiped out at this point with so much walking, eating and drinking, so we took it fairly easy…

The aforementioned brunch

The fountain was even more a mess. People around the city were complaining their pipes were frozen and had no idea what to do about it. People were so unprepared for the cold, they just sprinkled table salt on the sidewalks to keep the ice away…

I guess it started as a blacksmith shop.

Farewell New Orleans! We’ll definitely be back come warmer weather and replenished vacation funds.
