Astoria is often called “Little Athens” thanks to the large number of old Greek people standing around in the streets. But, Astoria seems to have a pretty significant Czech and Slovakian population. This Memorial Day Weekend, the band got together and the Czech-Slovak festival took over our local Astoria Beer Garden.

Audrey graduated on Monday from Columbia. I was able to take half the day off at work and celebrated by eating tasty private school hors d’oeuvres and drinking a large number of their mimosas.
